Honoring Aspen Jane, An Unimaginable Loss

Hi, my name is Alex. My best friend Alexis and her boyfriend, Vaden, have suffered an unimaginable loss. Alexis was due with sweet Aspen Jane, August 2nd of this year. Unfortuantely, Saturday, June 17th, brought an unimaginable and painstaking reality. Alexis went to the hospital and they found that Aspen no longer had a heartbeat. In the blink of an eye, their world's were shattered. Alexis is still in the hospital at this time, they have started the induction process and she is in the middle of the delivery process. What was supposed to be the happiest time of their lives has quickly turned into a heartbreaking process.

I started this fundraiser for her because she is self-employed and during this time not being able to work has left a hardship on them. She has a vivacious 4 year old already and they need time to grieve. I'm hoping that by this fundraiser, the financial burned is lifted for the funeral, for the autopsy, and for the time off they need to wrap their heads around coming home empty handed to the home they were supposed to raise their sweet baby girl in. I'm reaching out to their friends, their community, and their family. This time is difficult and anything that we can do to make their lives easier in this difficult time is more than appreciated.
