If you have ever met or served with Jonathan Curtis, you will most definitely have met or heard of his amazing wife Ashley and his daughters Sarah and Savannah. All of which have been family to so many in the Air Force and through the local communities and churches no matter where they were stationed over the past 20+ years. Ashley, 37, entered into the presence of her Savior on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma brain cancer.
As a family of faith, they have served not only the country, but have helped countless others in more ways than they will ever know.
I am asking for your help to ease the challenges the Curtis family will face. Please help honor Ashley and the Curtis family whether it be through prayers or a small donation.
Ashley is survived by her loving husband, Pastor Jonathan Curtis; her daughters, Savannah and Sarah; her parents, Craig and Tammy Newkirk; her brother, Craig Newkirk Jr.; her grandparents, William and Josephine Horst and Arlene Burkus; her mother in law, Elizabeth Turner; and many other cherished family members and friends who will carry her memory forward.
“Ashley’s legacy is one of faithfulness: faithfulness to God, to her family, and to the calling placed on her life. Those who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, her steadfast love, and the quiet strength that marked her journey.”
