It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Art Valdez, beloved husband of Lee Valdez, our longtime St. Matthias School Administrative Assistant. Mr. Valdez passed away on Friday, January 23rd.

The Valdez family has been a pillar of the St. Matthias community for nearly two decades, and Mr. Valdez’s loss is deeply felt by many—especially his two grandchildren, Emily and Gio, who are both scholars at St. Matthias School.

Our hearts go out to Lee and her family during this incredibly difficult time. As Lee takes time away from work to grieve and be with her loved ones, we humbly ask for any support you are able to offer to help offset funeral expenses and to support the family as they adjust to life without their husband, father, and grandfather.
