❤️ In Loving Memory of Arturo “Poppa Art” Guajardo ❤️
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Arturo Guajardo, lovingly known as Papa Art. Arturo passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4th, surrounded by loved ones.
Art was truly one of a kind — kind-hearted, generous, and always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a special way of making everyone feel welcome and loved, and his presence brought warmth and laughter wherever he went.
He had many passions, but nothing made him happier than riding his motorcycle, spending time with his beloved wife, Lauren, and being surrounded by his family — especially his grandbabies, who were his pride and joy.
Art also had a big sweet tooth and loved his dessert runs and fast-food adventures, which never failed to bring a smile to his face and to everyone who joined him. Those simple, joyful moments are what made him so loved and unforgettable.
So many people have been reaching out asking how they can help, which says everything about how deeply Lauren and Art have touched the lives of everyone around them.
As many know, Lauren has also been quietly facing her own health challenges, which makes this loss even more heartbreaking and the road ahead more difficult. She has handled everything with quiet strength and grace, but now she needs the love and support of the same family and friends that she and Art have given so much to over the years.
This GoFundMe has been created to honor Art’s memory and to support Lauren as she navigates this painful new chapter. Donations will go toward funeral expenses and help provide Lauren the time and space she needs to focus on her healing — both emotionally and physically.
Lauren and Art have always been there for others — showing up, giving, and caring with their whole hearts. Now it’s our turn to be there for her. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and remind her she’s not alone.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, shared memories, sent love, and held Lauren and Art close in your hearts. Your kindness means more than words can ever say. ❤️️
