Honoring Armando’s Life & Helping Our Family Lay Him to Rest

Hello, my name is Rocío Brown, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my family and my siblings during an incredibly difficult time.

We recently lost our beloved Armando, a son (we lost our mother 2 years ago; he has joined her), brother, uncle, friend, and a deeply creative soul who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Armando was an artist at heart. Many people may remember seeing him downtown, where he spent time drawing, writing poetry, and sharing his creativity with the world. Art wasn’t just something he enjoyed; it was how he expressed who he was.

When he wasn’t working, Armando truly cherished our family gatherings and always participated. Family meant everything to him. He also had a deep appreciation for life in all its forms — not only human life, but nature and the small living things around him. He found beauty and meaning in places others might overlook, and that perspective lived on through his art and poetry.

This loss was completely unexpected, and Armando did not have life insurance. As a result, our family is now facing funeral and memorial expenses we were not prepared for. This GoFundMe has been created to help us lay Armando to rest with the love, dignity, and respect he deserves.

We understand that times are difficult for many, and there is absolutely no pressure to donate. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is genuinely appreciated. Even sharing this page or keeping our family in your thoughts means more to us than we can express.
