On January 3, 2026, we gained an Angel. April went into the hospital, filled with excitement to welcome her newest baby girl into the world. While that beautiful baby girl is here today, a miracle and a blessing, sadly, April never made it back home.

April passed away from sudden, unknown complications after childbirth. We’re still struggling to understand how a day of joy became one of great loss.

If you knew April, you knew her laugh. It was the kind of laugh that could light up the darkest room and make everyone around her feel at ease. She had a tremendous, loving heart that she poured into everything she did, especially into her role as a mother and grandmother.

April leaves behind seven beautiful children and two grandchildren. They were her world, and now they face a future without her physical presence, her guidance, and that unmistakable laugh.

Because this tragedy was so sudden and unexpected, our family is now faced with the unthinkable task of saying goodbye while navigating the heavy financial burden of funeral and burial costs.

Our goal is to give April the peaceful resting place she deserves and to provide her children and grandchildren with the closure they so desperately need.

We ask our community, friends, and anyone moved by April’s story to help us. All donations will go toward funeral costs and support for her seven children and two grandchildren during this time.
