Honoring April Moore’s Memory. We are heartbroken to share the passing of my mother, April Lynn Evans Moore, a woman whose kindness, love, and laughter touched every life she encountered. She was both a mother and father to us, always there for our family and doing everything she could to take care of us. She worked hard, spending time at Pizza Hut in Toccoa and later at Canberg & Co with Robert and Chris Canberg. Some of my favorite memories are of us working together in the warehouse, blasting 80s music—she especially loved Motley Crue.

April found joy in the simple things: watching Golden Girls, Roseanne, and Mama’s Family, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team. Her sense of humor and warmth made every day brighter, and she always put her family first, no matter what challenges she faced. Her loss was unexpected, and we are now navigating not only the weight of our grief but also the financial burden that comes with laying her to rest with the dignity and peace she deserves.
