My name is Sharena and I’m so sad to have to compose this message.

On January 6th, 2026, Apollo was violently attacked by another dog in Florida while he was doing nothing wrong. He was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital where doctors fought tirelessly to save him. Apollo underwent surgery and for a moment, it seemed like he might recover. Tragically, despite all efforts and thousands of dollars in emergency care, Apollo passed away from complications related to the attack.

We are completely heartbroken. Losing Apollo so suddenly and violently has left us grieving, traumatized, and completely overwhelmed. Apollo was more than a dog he was family.

This fundraiser is not just about money it is about justice and accountability.

The owner of the dog that attacked Apollo must be held responsible. We are pursuing legal action to cover Apollo’s medical expenses and to ensure this does not happen to another innocent dog or family. Legal action is costly, and attorney fees are a major barrier while we are already burdened by emergency veterinary bills.

All funds raised will go directly toward:

• Legal and attorney fees

• Court costs related to pursuing justice for Apollo

• Holding the negligent dog owner accountable under Florida law

Apollo deserved a long, happy life. He deserved to feel safe. We cannot bring him back, but we can fight for him and make sure his life mattered.
