Our hearts are shattered as we mourn the tragic and senseless loss of Antrawla "Mejoy" Kelly, whose life was taken far too soon as a result of domestic violence. Antrawla was gunned down in the presence of her 15 year old daughter. A loving mother, devoted family member, and beautiful soul, Antrawla's life was stolen in an act that has left her loved ones devastated and forever changed.
More than anything, Antrawla loved her daughters. They were her greatest purpose, her greatest joy, and the center of her world. Today, her eldest daughter, Asia Smith and her youngest daughter, Kamryn Smith are facing the unimaginable reality of moving forward without their mother's love, comfort, and protection.
No child should ever have to endure this kind of heartbreak. No family should have to plan a funeral instead of celebrating a life still being lived.
As her family grieves this unimaginable loss, they are also burdened with the unexpected expenses that come with laying a loved one to rest and providing stability for the daughters Antrawla leaves behind.
