Honoring Anthony Armenti’s Final Journey

Donation protected
On January 14, 2026, our family said goodbye to our uncle and cousin Anthony Armenti, after he was admitted to the hospital on Christmas Day. He was only 63 years old.

Anthony entered this world facing challenges he never chose. Complications at birth caused a lack of oxygen that affected him for the rest of his life, leading to many uphill battles that were always beyond his control. Despite this, Anthony wanted nothing more than his independence. He valued his freedom deeply and never liked to ask for help—even when life left him with no other choice.

He endured more loss than anyone should have to bear. Anthony outlived his parents, whom he lost as a teenager, as well as his younger brother, who passed away in his early thirties. Still, he kept going. He spent much of his life doing odd jobs and small tasks for others, helping in whatever way he could. That simple ability to be useful and lend a hand brought him genuine joy.

As his health declined and he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, Anthony eventually had to move into an assisted living facility. After recently battling pneumonia, doctors were able to treat the infection—but his body had reached its limit and was ready to rest.

Our goal is to bring Anthony to Ohio, where he can be laid to rest beside his mother. We want to honor him by giving him peace, dignity, and the freedom he sought his entire life.

We are asking for help to cover funeral and burial expenses, as well as transportation costs to bring him home. Any contribution—no matter the amount—means more than we can express. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is also deeply appreciated.

Thank you for helping us give my uncle the rest he so greatly deserves.
