Honoring Anthony: A Beloved Brother, Son, & Student
Donation protected
A note from the Honeys: While this has been an incredible shock, we know we don't own the corner on grief. We are so grateful for all the kind words, incredible support and outpouring of love for not only Anthony, but for us also who miss him dearly. We are going to use proceeds from this to have a beautiful bench placed over him where we can visit and have a quiet moment to reflect on the wonderful memories we have of him. Love the Honey's
Anthony Honey unexpectedly passed away on December 6 from cardiac arrest and related issues caused by muscular dystrophy. I was his teacher that was playing Old Maid with him the day before never anticipating this heartbreak the next day. Anthony was delightful. He loved his family, coloring, Minecraft videos, legos, puzzles, joking around, dinosaurs, and coming to school. He was dependent on other's help to make sure his needs were met, and always treated them with kindness, respect, and patience. I wish I could take care of him for one more day and hear his sweet, delicate voice telling me how to make sure he’s comfortable.
Anthony is the youngest of 8 children, in which 4 of those children have muscular dystrophy. Anthony is the second to pass away early in life from this disease. The heartache that this family is going through is one that they have felt in the past with their oldest son passing away and two other sons living with muscular dystrophy will unforeseeably experience as well. The Honeys have given these boys an incredible life. They serve day in and day out to make sure their sons and brothers feel loved and taken care of. I know of no other family to be put in a difficult circumstance like this and take it on with such courage and bravery. Each sibling has been an incredible asset in helping these boys.
This family needs our help financially during this difficult time. Please consider donating. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
