Honoring Annika - Our Angel of Hope

I am a friend of the Hendricksen’s, I have known them for over 10 years. Their faith and dedication to Annika is nothing short of remarkable. Annika was a radiant light—an extraordinary 10-year-old girl whose courage in the face of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1 became the spark that ignited hope for countless other children. Through a groundbreaking medical research program, Annika received treatments that not only gave her precious time but also led to life-changing advancements for others with the same diagnosis. Because of her, children with SMA Type 1 now have the chance to live full, vibrant lives. Annika’s legacy is one of fierce resilience and selfless impact. As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are raising funds to honor her memory—with support for her funeral costs and for her mother, Anna’s healing journey through grief therapy. Annika changed the world in her short time here; now we come together to carry her light forward.
