Angelo Trento, the oldest of nine siblings, a father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2026.

Just six months ago, Angelo lost his beloved life partner, Kiki. He never fully recovered from that heartbreak. While life continued on, a part of him was never the same.

Angelo loved in his own quiet, private way. He carried his love differently , not always loudly or consistently, but it was there, and it was real.

He was known for his deep love of sports. A devoted New York Giants and New Jersey Devils fan, he could often be found passionately cheering on his teams , and yes, sometimes yelling at the TV. His energy and intensity made every game an event.

Though Angelo was a private man, if he let you into his world, you truly knew him. He showed affection freely , he was a kisser, never shy about a hug or a kiss on the cheek. Italian to his core, Angelo loved music and food. He enjoyed the classics, Sinatra, Frankie Valli and was a lifelong fan of KISS, his favorite rock band.

We will miss him in ways both big and small. We mourn not only his passing, but also the time we wish we had shared. Still, we carry him in our hearts and cherish the memories we have. We pray he is free from pain, at peace, and reunited eternally with his beloved Kiki.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of Angelo’s memorial and to give him the farewell he deserves, one that honors his life and the impact he had on those who knew him. His passing was sudden, and our family was not prepared for these unexpected expenses.
