Honoring Angel Torres

Hello family and friends,

The Torres family is helping to raise funds together in loving memory of our son, Angel Torres. My youngest of two, Angel was everything to me and meant the world to others as well. He was a son, brother, father, cousin, friend, and so much more. He had so much love to give and was loved all the same. He had the biggest heart and was a hardworking, kind, and humble soul.

Early Sunday around 2:30 a.m., he was involved in a car crash between 62nd Street West and Avenue K. While driving on Avenue K, they lost control of the vehicle and crashed. He tragically passed away at the scene at the age of 24. Angel’s unexpected and tragic passing has left us profoundly heartbroken. In this time of sorrow, we humbly ask the community to come together to help us provide him with an honorable and proper burial.
