As many of you may know my brother passed away due to a boating accident on March 5th.

Angel Luis Nieves, a fisherman aboard the capsized New Bedford-based vessel Yankee Rose off Provincetown, is fondly remembered by his family as a devoted family man who deeply loved God, his four children, nieces and nephews the ocean, and lived with a generous heart. His love for fishing came from his dad. Who spent hours with him on the water since he was a kids. He loved the ocean it was his passion. But more than that, he loved God and his family. He worked so hard every day for his family. He had such a good heart. He would have gave the shirt off his back for anyone. He was the type of friend you always wanted to have in your corner. We are extremely devastated by his loss and will never stop honoring him. His soul is now at rest.”
