Honoring Andrew Artiga's Life and Legacy
Donation protected

As many know, our beloved Andrew (Fat Boy) Artiga passed away suddenly on Saturday afternoon January 18, 2025. In June 2024 Andrew was diagnosed with a grade 4 astrocytoma on his left and right frontal lobe, requiring emergency surgery to remove the tumors. Unfortunately, they were only partially removed and left his entire left side paralyzed. But his resilience didn't stop him from waking up every day to regain his strength he lost from the multiple seizures he had during his surgery. For the following months he endured 10 rounds of radiation and 2 rounds of chemotherapy. One month before his passing, he was given a prognosis of 4-5 years to live. At 28 years of age, we were all devastated at hearing the short amount of time we would have left with our nephew. On Saturday, January 18th, our time was cut shorter since he was rushed to the hospital for chest pains and shortness of breath. He stopped breathing and could not be revived and unfortunately passed away. Andrew was full of life. He was very loving and caring and always had a smile on his face no matter what kind of pain he was in. He was very protective of the people he loved. He was spontaneous, outgoing, sweet, respectful and humble. My nephew was always down to go to Dodger games and eat good food. My list can go on and on about Andrew, so one thing my nephew deserves is to have a beautiful service. For anyone who would like to donate it would be greatly appreciated. I also attached my links to Zelle and Cashapp for those who prefer to use that form of payment. Thank you all for the continued love, support and prayers we have been so blessed with.
