Aloha friends and family,

I am raising funds to help honor and celebrate the life of my mother, our friend, and to some, sister, Joanna (JoJo) Chung Galvez - a woman whose spirit was full of joy, love, and rhythm. Joanna was always upbeat, always helping others, even when she was struggling herself. Her laughter, kindness, and passion for music and dance touched so many lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

She was deeply connected to the live music scene - the kind of person who could turn a night out into a celebration of life. Her love for people and her generous heart left a lasting mark on everyone she met.
