Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this message. My name is Carmen Reeves and it is with a heavy and grieving heart that I share the passing of my beloved father, Steven Reeves, who left us after a brave battle with vascular dementia. My dad was a wonderful, kind, and exuberant father, grandfather, and dear friend to many. His empathetic and joyful life and smile could light up the room. His heart full of love touched many in his life.

Steven was a man of simple joys. He loved the outdoors, whether it be camping with friends and family or going on long, and at times exhausting, fishing trips with his children. Throughout my childhood, we would drive hours to go to remote lakes and fish for hours, far away from the worries of life.

He loved dancing and music and was an avid fan of the Beatles and the Beach Boys. He loved to sway and move his body to the music, and his joy was contagious. His generosity, laughter, and positive energy made him the kind of person everyone wanted around.

As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, I am reaching out to our friends and family for help with covering the cost of cremation. The total cost is $2,800, and any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to our family. Any support you can give, whether it is a donation, a share, or even your well wishes, will mean the world to us. So please help us honor my dad's memory and give him the farewell he deserves.
