Dear loving friends and family,

My name is Ashton Jimenez, formerly Ashton Santoy. I am heartbroken to share that my beloved father, Alvin Santoy, has passed away. We are humbly reaching out to ask for your help in raising funds for his funeral arrangements. He left this world much too soon and unexpectedly. It wasn’t how God intended, but please know, he was deeply loved by all of us.

Even though sometimes it was hard for him to feel it, he made a lasting impression wherever he went. He was loving, caring, thoughtful, and handsome, inside and out. I loved him more than words can express. All my life, I longed to truly know him, especially as I grew into a young adult. He faced many hardships, nothing came easy for him, but he was always a man of his word. He drove hundreds of miles just to see me, sometimes multiple times. He never let me down. He was never too busy, never emotionally unavailable, no matter what I was going through.

His love for animals was endless, so much so that he might have convinced even a bear to hug him! He loved people deeply, even when he sometimes struggled to feel like he belonged. An adventurer at heart, if you had an idea to explore or try something new, he was ready to go in that very moment. He saw life through a poetic, romantic lens, even when the world around him seemed to take more than it gave.

He expressed his feelings beautifully through music, subtle innuendos, and heartfelt gestures, his spirit of love shined brightly. He was compassionate, hilarious, and had a gift for making everyone around him smile. And if he ever wanted to tease or challenge you? Well, challenge accepted, lol!

He was truly a part of me that made me whole. Once I found him, everything about me started to make sense. He inspired so much of who I am today. I will forever be his little Ashton Rose, his "Babygirl," as he lovingly called me. My heart will always ache for him, but I find comfort in knowing how much I loved him.

I love him dearly, and I pray that God blesses everyone who knew him, loved him, or is willing to help us honor his memory with a beautiful farewell. I will be singing for him, he loved my voice. I want everyone to have the chance to say goodbye, to share their love, and to come as they are, because I know he would have loved that so much.
