Hello friends, it is with a heavy heart that I share our friend Alley, also known as Serge or Sergio, died early in the morning of December 14th, 2025.

Alley / Sergio was biking on Beacon Hill after visiting with friends at the Punk Rock Flea Market, and then the Equinox Holiday Party. A hit and run driver struck Alley and then left the scene. Despite immediate community support from witnesses and emergency responders, Alley is gone.

This is especially heartbreaking considering Alley / Sergio had only recently gotten back in touch with our community and returned to Seattle after several years out on fishing boats.

In order to gather together Alley/Sergio's family, we are asking the community to contribute to their travel expenses, and funeral/memorial costs.

Plans for a memorial celebration are in motion. Folks who are willing to share their creative or organizational skills towards this endeavor, please send a message to Sarah here and let's talk.

In addition to this tragedy, the hit and run driver has not yet been apprehended. If anyone has information to add to the investigation, please get in touch. More video footage is needed to identify the car and license plate. We are seeking justice for the loss of our friend, and solace for Alley/Sergio's family members.
