With a very heavy heart, I am writing this. Tuesday around 10:30pm my father, Allan was found unconscious in our family home. EMS arrived & did everything they could before transporting him to Waterbury Hospital. When he arrived, the medical team continued CPR & intubated him. My father was without oxygen to his brain for what doctors believe may have been 45 minutes, if not longer.

He is currently on life support. The machines are the only thing keeping him here with us right now. Doctors are waiting for me to make what feels like the most difficult decision of my life.

During this incredibly painful time, we are asking for privacy & respectfully ask that no questions be asked while our family processes everything that is happening.

No matter how tough my dad may have seemed on the outside, he had the biggest heart. If he loved you, he would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He was known by so many people. Ive heard so many stories of people calling him the town mayor because it did not matter WHERE WE WERE this man would ALWAYS run into someone he knew from some point of his life. As our family prepares for what may come next, we are facing overwhelming medical expenses along with the costs that will come with laying Allan to rest. If anyone can find it in their heart to contribute or even share this fundraiser, it would mean more to our family than words can express.
