Allan Freedman was a vibrant, inspiring soul who brought light and laughter to everyone he met. Even at 78, he was full of energy and curiosity, always eager to learn and adapt as the world changed around him. Whether he was being silly to lift someone’s spirits or offering steady support during tough times, Allan was the kind of person you could always count on. His deep knowledge of radio broadcasting was matched only by his willingness to embrace new technology, and he loved sharing his expertise with others.
Allan’s sudden passing has left a tremendous void in the lives of his family and friends. He had been experiencing chest pains, but after being told by his doctor it was just heartburn, we never imagined we would lose him so soon. The shock of his loss has been overwhelming, and we are now faced with the unexpected responsibility of arranging his final care. Allan dedicated his life to radio, satellite broadcasting, and aerospace, and served in the Navy. He loved 60s music and listening to his favorite radio stations, especially SiriusXM and Gold Radio. Not only was he an intelligent and enthusiastic man, he was a supportive husband and a loving father.
We are reaching out for help to cover the costs of Allan’s autopsy, cremation, daily refrigeration fees, viewing service, and embalming. We also hope to hold a gathering where everyone whose life Allan touched—family, friends, and colleagues—can come together to pay their last respects and celebrate his remarkable life. Your support will help us honor Allan’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves.
