On February 9, 2026, our beloved 24 year old daughter Alissa was tragically killed in a head-on collision on Highway 30 near Rainier, Oregon when a drunk driver crossed into her lane. This sudden, senseless loss has shattered our family and everyone who knew her.
Alissa was a bright light in our lives. Her smile could light up any room, and her kindness and strength inspired everyone around her. She was deeply loved by family, friends, coworkers, and all whose lives she touched.
We are now facing the overwhelming task of planning a memorial service that truly honors Alissa’s memory. We want to create a simple, heartfelt gathering where friends and family can come together, share stories, and say goodbye. We are opting for cremation and a welcoming venue, with food and refreshments to make it a warm, supportive community moment, just as Alissa would have wanted.
The costs for cremation, funeral home services, venue rental, food, flowers, programs, music, and helping friends and family travel to pay their respects are adding up quickly during this difficult time.
