My name is Brett, and I recently lost my wife Alissa to breast cancer. She was my partner in life and my greatest source of strength and a bright light to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Alissa was the best dog mom to our dog Max, a devoted friend and daughter, and a passionate reader and writer whose talent and creativity touched everyone around her. She loved to travel, she loved deeply, and she brought warmth and joy into every room she entered.

Through hundreds of rounds of chemotherapy and everything that came with her battle against breast cancer, Alissa never stopped shining. She faced it all with a grace and strength that left me in awe every single day.

Even though Alissa is gone, her medical bills continue to arrive. If you’re in a position to contribute, it would mean more than words can say, but please know it is absolutely not expected.
