We are incredibly sad to announce the passing of one of our dear ECOS family members. Alfredo Rodriguez, a member of our Cypress team for 23 years who worked on the production line, passed away unexpectedly on August 11th. Alfredo was known by everyone as a dedicated, wise and humble man, and he was loved by everyone in the warehouse.

Originally from Puebla, Mexico, Alfredo loved our company and was incredibly dedicated to his job. Lettie Altamirano, our Officer Manager in Cypress, said, “He was always 5 to 10 minutes early, and I would always see him running to work in his uniform. I asked him why he was running if he wasn’t late, and he replied, ‘The body must always be moving or you get old,’ and then he smiled.” Alfredo was extremely knowledgeable about his work, and he was often paired with new hires so they could shadow him and learn from him.

Alfredo was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed, and we send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
