With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved sister, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece, and friend, Alexandria Marie Potter Marchman. She brought so much love, laughter, and light into our lives, and her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. Alex was kind, free spirited, funny, compassionate, and beautiful. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her in her own special way. Alex loved nature deeply. She picked Sol as her nature name, which means “sun.” Very fitting for Alex because she was our sunlight, always brightening the lives of those around her.
Alex lived all over the country and created loving communities wherever she went. Her passion for animals and the outdoors inspired everyone who knew her, and she dreamed of becoming an oceanographer one day. In lieu of flowers, we are planning a nature project to honor Alex's life and legacy. We do not have details yet, but will keep everyone informed as the project moves forward. Your support will help us create something beautiful in her memory, a lasting tribute to her spirit and love for the natural world.
Thank you for your generosity, and please keep our family in your hearts and prayers as we honor Alexandria's life and legacy.
