Honoring Alexandra Wynter

Alexandra Wynter was a remarkable young woman whose life was dedicated to helping others. As a passionate community activist, Alex selflessly worked with Community Action Volunteers in Education (CAVE), Safe Space heating and cooling centers and Catalyst.

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking passing of our beloved Alexandra Wynter:
Alexandra was a deeply loved outstanding daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend and community member. She was truly extraordinary- patient, kind, and caring, as well as committed, ambitious, and strong. She had a passion for life and left a mark on her community. No matter the challenges she faced, Alexandra met them head-on and achieved her goals.
Alexandra was committed to those that she loved. She was an active leader in civil engagement dedicated to helping those less fortunate and a compassionate advocate for those in need . She leaves behind her cherished dog, Wynter, whom she loved dearly, along with her mother, sisters, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was a comfy shoulder to rest on, an empathetic ear to listen, a loving friend to laugh with, and an amazing sister to look up to. Alex was not only a beautiful woman inside and out but a dazzling role mode to every person who knew her. As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we honor Alexandra's life and the beautiful impact she had on everyone who knew her. Thank you for keeping Alexandra and her family in your thoughts and prayers, during this difficult time.
At the time of her passing, Alexandra was working at Enloe Hospital and preparing for the internship she needed to complete her degree. She was known for her calm strength, fierce determination, and boundless love for those around her. Alexandra's family and friends remember her as someone who brought light and hope wherever she went, and her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her.

On December 3, 2025, Alexandra's life was tragically cut short after she ended a relationship and was planning to move out with her beloved fur baby, Wynter. Her family is now facing the unexpected costs of funeral services and transporting Alexandra home to be properly celebrated and laid to rest. The funeral home has already picked her up and delivered her safely to Southern California, and is taking care of her preparations, service, and transport—all to be paid after her family has honored her memory. We are deeply grateful for any support during this heartbreaking time. Alexandra touched many lives, and her family would appreciate any help to honor her legacy and give her the farewell she deserves.
