In Memory of Alec — Supporting His Wife After a Tragic Loss

We are heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of Alec Inhouse at just 37 years old.

Alec was one of those rare people who seemed to make a friend everywhere he went. His energy, humor, and genuine enthusiasm made him unforgettable to those who knew him.

Motorsports was a huge part of Alec’s life. He lived and breathed racing — building, tuning, driving, teaching, and helping others along the way. He loved sharing what he knew and encouraging others in the motorsports community.

Alec also spent 16 years with Summit Racing Equipment, most recently as a Special Events Coordinator, a role that perfectly matched his passion. Through both work and racing, he built friendships with people from many different walks of life.

Above everything else, Alec was a husband, a best friend, and someone deeply loved by those closest to him.

Nothing can lessen the grief Misty is experiencing, but we hope we can come together to ease some of the financial burdens that come with such a sudden and devastating loss. Funds raised will go directly to Misty to help with household expenses, time away from work, and whatever else she may need in the weeks and months ahead, giving her some time and space to grieve without having to worry about everything at once as she begins to navigate life without Alec.
