On August 21, 2025, our beloved mother & father, Alden & Helianthe Monkou, passed away unexpectedly after a tragic carbon monoxide incident at their home. This sudden loss has left our family heartbroken and searching for ways to honor the incredible life they lived.

Alden & Helianthe were known for their giving spirit. They never hesitated to open their home to others, serve a warm plate of food, lift spirits with a song, or pause to say a heartfelt prayer when someone needed it most. Their kindness was never about grand gestures, it was about simple, everyday acts of love that made people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.

We are heartbroken, not only from losing them, but also facing the practical reality of arranging a meaningful funeral and service for two parents.
