On July 16th @ 4:36PM Our daughter A'Laura Shae Mesa has gained her wings.

Sunday July 14th. Lala went out to throw out her bag of trash to the front of the house. She came in and collapsed at the bottom of the steps and ended up having a seizure-like episode. I asked her if her chest was getting tight, she said no but her body feels weird and couldn't feel her legs. We brought her outside to get some fresh air and to wait for the Ambulance. She was still alert while the EMT were assessing her condition and at that time she had her 2nd seizure-like episode. Then she stopped breathing. It happened way too fast - Within 5 minutes.

After almost 2 hours of coding in the ER they had her stabilized enough with a faint pulse. After all that was said and done. The hospital did some testing to find out the root cause.

They found a Blood Clot on her left leg and when she had her seizure-like episode the clot broke off and went into her lungs which blocked Oxygen to her brain. But, the shock of it all is that we found out she had OVARIAN CANCER (FCKCANCER) 5"diameter, which she did not know as well when she passed. The Dr. says it's likely the Cancer created the blood clot. And with the lack of oxygen to her brain she was declared Brain Dead.
