Dear Friends and Family Members,
It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved Ajuda Maya Koirala on May 26, 2025, at 4:24 PM Indian Standard Time / 6:54 AM Eastern Standard Time.
She was the cherished wife of the late Devi Charan Koirala and a pillar of strength, compassion, and grace in the lives of many. She is lovingly survived by her 4 sons, 4 daughters, 31 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her enduring love and wisdom.
Born in Panchthar, Angrup, Nepal, Ajuda Maya’s life was a journey of resilience, faith, and devotion to her family. She moved to Maogaon, Bhutan, in her early years of marriage, and later built a loving home in Bomjan Dadha, Gelephu, where she raised her children and nurtured generations with her care and quiet strength. In her later years, she settled in Madarihat, India, where she spent her final days surrounded by those who loved her deeply.

- 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and 2 daughters are conducting the ceremonies in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- 2 daughters are holding rituals in Bhutan.
- 1 son and his wife are performing the rites in India.
We, the Koirala family, humbly pray for her soul to find eternal peace in the heavenly abode, reunited with our beloved Baba.
We love you, we miss you, and we carry your memory in our hearts always.
