We are heartbroken during this time as we share the loss of my little sister, Aide Perez at the age of 34 years old.
Aide was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy a few months after she was born, as she got older her condition progressed. At the age of 15 she was given a g tube for feeding then two years later she was given a tracheostomy for her breathing issues that developed. She was very loved and extremely well taken care of by two home nurses that were with her for 15-20 years each. Most importantly our mom never left her side and was always her voice. Our mom knew her better than anyone and has dedicated her life to being my sisters caregiver.
Through every good or bad moment in her life, Aide never gave up. She overcame so many health issues throughout her life, always having her families love and support. She never once spent a day or night alone, not home and especially not when she had to be admitted at the hospital and be there for days even weeks at times. Unfortunately her heart stopped after 34 years of a very blessed and loved life. Despite not being expected to live past a certain age, she surpassed that by many years by gods will and her strength to never give up.
My sister was a light in our household and to everyone that got to know her.
Aide's beautiful big eyes, contagious smile, and loving soul will forever live in our hearts and memories.
Unfortunately her heart stopped on Sunday morning of July 13th, 2025 and god gained another beautiful angel in heaven. We are asking for your donations during this incredibly difficult time to help towards funeral expenses. Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Any donation, no matter the amount is greatly appreciated !
