The sudden loss of Adriana has left her family facing an unimaginable tragedy.

Adriana was exactly the kind of person the labor movement is built on — someone who rises from the ranks and pours everything they have back into the people who got them there. Her sudden loss has left her family in shock and grief, and the community is mourning the loss of someone who made a real difference in the lives of those around her.

Adriana had been a member of UHW since 2003 when she began her career at Kaiser’s LA Regional operation as a Collector. She became an Executive Board member in 2017 and joined the UHW staff as a Rep/Organizer for Panorama City in 2021. Last year she joined the Representational Excellence team where she was able to do the representational work she loved so much.

The funds raised will help her family meet immediate needs as they navigate this difficult time. By coming together, we can help ease some of the financial burden and show her family that they are not alone. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact and help them begin to heal.
