It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of Adia Lipscomb Mingo on December 11, 2025. Her loss has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Adia was a beautiful soul with a kind and loving spirit. She touched so many lives through her love for softball and the deep bonds she shared with family and friends. Whether as a teammate, friend, sister, daughter, or mother, Adia had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved. Her warm, yet straightforward personality will never be forgotten.

This GoFundMe is being organized by Bethel, one of Adia’s closest friends and the godmother to her beloved daughter, Amya. Bethel is coordinating this effort to support Marcus and Amya during this incredibly difficult time and to help ease the financial burdens that come with such a sudden loss.
