“Hi, my name is Yvette Padilla , and I am starting this GoFundMe to honor my dad, Abel Padilla who passed away unexpectedly. Our family is heartbroken and still trying to process this loss.

We find comfort in knowing that he has now joined my brother, but the suddenness of his passing has left us unprepared for the funeral and memorial expenses. We want to give him the farewell he deserves and celebrate the love and memories he left behind.

I will forever carry the great memories of him—teaching me how to swim, ride a bike, giving me driving lessons (and mechanic lessons too, lol). He always said he wanted me to know my car stuff so no one could take advantage of me. And no matter how grown I am, I will always be his little “Ant,” the nickname he gave me since I was a baby.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering funeral costs and supporting our family during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for the love, support, and prayers we’ve received, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us lay my dad to rest with dignity and love.
