Support the Family of a Young Life Taken Too Soon

The Carlsbad community is mourning the tragic loss of a 19-year-old young man whose life was cut short in a fatal hit-and-run accident on Standpipe Road during the early morning hours of June 8, 2026.

According to the Carlsbad Police Department, the young man was riding a minibike when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver left the scene without stopping to render aid or report the accident. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify those responsible.

Today, a family faces the unimaginable pain of losing a son, family member, and loved one far too soon. As they navigate this devastating loss, they are also faced with the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses.
