John Bernabe Atencio was a proud veteran who lived a simple life with his loyal dog, Blue. He was a man of unique passions—his love for music, his impressive record collection, and his appreciation for good tunes that he shared with his family. Born on 4/20, he always found joy in relaxing with a joint and sharing his favorite oldies but goodies with family and friends. His taste in music and his easygoing spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

After his recent passing, our family is coming together to honor his memory. The VA has offered to help, but there are still significant expenses for the funeral home, cremation, memorial services, flowers, and burial. Antoinette Romero and Margarita Atencio, his only surviving daughters, are doing their best to give him the farewell he deserves, but the costs are more than they can manage alone.
