My name is Eneida Schroeder and my father passed away suddenly on February 5th in Columbia, South Carolina. I am raising money to pay for my father’s funeral and cremation. My father was a family man and was a man of his word. He protected me and my mother from everything and everyone. My father served in the United States Marines Corps from 1986 to 1992 as a Aviation Supply Clerk, earning honors and medals along the way. The VA will cover the burial costs, it’s just a matter of collecting funds for the actual funeral and cremation. Originally we wanted to respect my father‘s wishes and bury him, but we do not have the funds to do so, since it is nearly double the price of what we owe now. I am a full-time student, and my parents have wanted me to focus on only school for now. I am currently a junior double major (Environmental  Studies and Political Science) major at Winthrop University. Our nearest family lives in North Carolina and the rest are in Ohio, but nobody can afford to help us. Me and my mother are alone now since my dad was the one who took care of us. I am also dealing with health issues with my mother. She is currently in the process of going through dialysis and losing the love of her life has broken her in a way that is unimaginable. Anything will help and is GREATLY appreciated.
