Honoring a one of a kind Man, Edward Thomas Perez Benavidez

On March 3rd, Edward Thomas Perez Benavidez III passed away. He was an amazing father, husband, brother, and friend to so many people. I, Edward Jose Perez Benavidez (aka Little Edward/his son), am making this GoFundMe so that anyone who feels like helping out can do so. All funds will go to the funeral cost; anything is greatly appreciated.

My father was an amazing man and an anchor to all his family members. He taught me that no matter how crazy your family might be, they’re still family, and he was always there for the people who needed him. I’ve met so many family members through them coming to my dad for help with their cars, moving out, needing a place to stay, needing someone to talk to, and literally anything. People just knew that my dad could fix everything, no matter how big or small. He had such a large family and did his best to be a part of all of their lives, and I truly believe everyone who was blessed to have him in their life was better off because of it. It’s truly impossible for me to explain what a great man he was. He was taken from us all way too soon, and I know I’ll never forget him, and I hope no one else does. Any contributions are greatly appreciated and not expected.

To my father - I love you so much, and I will forever miss you. You taught me how to be a man, and I hope to be even half the man you were. I love you so much.
