Nothing compares to the death of a mother. My mother worked 30 years as a nurse but developed rapid-onset Alzheimer’s, and before we knew it, she was in rapid decline, unable to care for herself and had been taken advantage of monetarily. As most of you know, I am a daughter of a nurse who was a single mom, and I am now a single mom. She suffered significant loss of savings due to those who take advantage of the vulnerable elderly prior to living in an adult facility. I am asking for any donations to assist with her memorial and funeral. Any amount will do, no matter how small. This is such a difficult time and I can’t believe my mother is gone, even though I know she is in a better place, and I hope she remembers me from on high.
