Honoring my sweet baby boy Angel for who he was
Donation protected

My son faced numerous medical challenges, including Necrotizing enterocolitis that led to intestinal perforation, causing him to lose 80 centimeters of bowel and leaving him with only 30 centimeters at just a week old. He had short gut syndrome, unspecified Anemia, essential fatty acid deficiency, and Osteopenia of prematurity. Additionally, he experienced Brain parenchymal calcification, relied on a G-tube for feeding, and had bronchopulmonary dysplasia, Cardiopulmonary arrest with successful resuscitation several times, patent ductus arteriosus, Patent foramen ovale, Chronic respiratory failure, retinopathy of prematurity stage 1, and multi-organ failure. Despite undergoing 15 surgeries, he remained the happiest baby and brought joy to everyone he met. Doctors warned me that he might not survive beyond a week after his first surgery, but I refused to give up on him. I am proud of that decision because I watched my baby boy turn 1, saw him sit up, took him for a walk outside, watched him grow without any breathing support, and saw him be unapologetically himself. I am immensely proud of him. I am grateful to have witnessed my son defy expectations and be the best little brother to his big sister Ziya. He showed immense strength and taught me invaluable life lessons. Unfortunately, due to my job reducing my hours because of my son's complex condition, I am struggling financially. As my children's only parent, I am reaching out for help to ensure my son receives the funeral he deserves. Thank you for taking the time to read a portion of my son's story and thank you for any donations.❤️
