Honoring a Life: Ray Rushforth
Donation protected
Our dear Ray suffered a severe asthma attack on November 18th and was rushed to Hackensack Medical Center. Despite valiant medical efforts, he never regained consciousness. In true Ray fashion, which exemplified his generous spirit, he was an organ donor and that procedure was completed on November 22. In that special way, Ray, Papa Rush, Ray Boogie, Rushi has become a blessing to others as he was to his friends and family.
Ray, in fact, was a ray of life, a ray of sun, fun, of love and compassion. As all of us remember, Ray was a talented graphic designer. Before that, he was a gifted student and excelled in sports. But Ray had been on disability since 2003 as result of a tragic brain injury, which he had fought so hard and long to overcome and rise to his potential. Given the circumstances, we are raising money to help Ray's family with funeral and medical expenses as they deal with this loss. Please consider giving if you can. Any amount is appreciated.
We also hope to soon share news of a memorial to honor his life once that is arranged
In lieu of flowers, please donate here.
