~ I never thought I would be the author of a GoFundMe account, but I must bow my head and ask for your assistance in putting my dad to rest. We all know death is imminent, and unfortunately, it comes at a cost, even for service members who served our country and fought in wars.

My dad protected us in the Korean War and continued to serve this country for over 20 years. Although the VA will have a small allowance for his burial plot and stone, the family will still endure the financial responsibility of the funeral home's cost. My dad was a proud man who worked and provided for a large family and never asked for anything. He raised me the same way. That is why it is so difficult for me to humble myself and ask for your help. If you had the opportunity to meet our dad, you understand.
