It’s never easy to say goodbye to someone who meant so much to so many. Bud was more than a Husband to Karen for 61 years, a father, a brother, and a friend—he was a true patriot. A proud veteran who served his country with honor, he carried that same spirit of loyalty, love, and selflessness into every part of his life.

He believed in family, in community, and in doing the right thing, even when no one was watching. Whether it was sharing a quiet word of encouragement or showing up when it mattered most, Bud had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued.

As we begin to process this immense loss, we’re also faced with the unexpected reality of funeral costs. In honoring Bud 's legacy, we want to give him the farewell he deserves—one that reflects the dignity with which he lived his life.
