Khalil was only 5 years old—a sweet, bright, and joyful little boy whose smile could light up every room. His laughter was contagious, his curiosity endless, and his loving spirit brought happiness to everyone who knew him. He should have had a lifetime of birthdays, milestones, and dreams ahead of him. Instead, his life was tragically taken in an act of family violence, leaving behind a grieving mother, a heartbroken brother, and loved ones facing an unimaginable loss.

We are a group of Khalil's mother's coworkers, asking our community to come together and support her during the most difficult time of her life. As she prepares to lay her son to rest, she should not also have to bear the burden of financial hardship. Donations will help cover funeral and burial expenses, counseling and therapy, immediate household needs, and give her the time she needs to grieve and begin healing alongside her surviving son.
