My dad was an amazing person who always had a smile on his face and could connect with anyone. He was a very loving father to his four kids, and even after long days at work, he always made time for us. He taught us to read and learn math at home, showing his dedication and love every single day.

He was also known for his beautiful voice. As a member of the Honor Guard, he would sing the National Anthem, and on Friday nights, he loved to sing karaoke. Those songs still bring back memories of him and the joy he brought to our family and friends. His service to protect the border and his commitment to his community will never be forgotten.
