Sadly, on the 15th of November 2025 at approximately 1:45 am, my nephew Xavier was tragically taken from us. He was murdered at the hands of people he thought were his friends, which clearly was not the case. He was lured into an alley, set up, and left to take his last breath alone. He was not involved in gangs; he was not selling drugs; he simply trusted the wrong people. People who clearly were jealous of how much he was loved by others and felt intimidated by his presence in their friend group. It’s sad that it’s always the ones closest to you. I can't begin to imagine what he was feeling. All I can do is pray that he felt the presence of God in those last moments. I pray he knew he was loved and would be truly missed.

As of now, there have been no arrests. However, we know justice will be served! Our only concern is laying him to rest peacefully. Xavier was not alone in this world! He was loved by many! He touched many hearts with his beautiful smile and contagious laughter. He was such an intelligent and inspirational young man. We were blessed with him for a wonderful 17 years although short-lived, we know his spirit will live on through all of us who truly loved him! Especially his mother, Jennifer Colletti. No mother should have to bury a child. That’s not how it should be. Unfortunately, this is her reality right now.
