A few months later, he and his family faced another daunting challenge: a dementia diagnosis that rapidly progressed to end-stage. Willie is dealing with the added complication of leaking heart valves. Throughout these trials, Willie's bravery, perseverance, and unwavering optimism have been a source of inspiration to all who know him.

Unfortunately, his family is now facing significant financial difficulties in addressing the numerous complications arising from his illnesses and are now worried about how they are going to provide him with a burial that honors his memory as a family man and a Army veteran who fought in the War for his country.
