❤️Please Help Us Lay My Uncle Jerry to Rest

Many of you know my Uncle Jerry — a man with a gentle spirit, a quiet sense of humor, and a heart that showed up for others even when life was hard for him. This past week, our family has been faced with a heartbreaking situation. Jerry was hospitalized after falling severely ill from a bacterial infection he didn’t even know he had. By the time doctors discovered it, the infection had already progressed into septic shock, causing his organs to shut down.

After careful discussions with his medical team, we’ve reached the painful point where the best and most loving option is comfort care. As we prepare for the inevitable, we are now faced with another difficult reality.

Unbeknownst to him — and to us — the life insurance benefit he had through his retirement ended when he turned 65. He truly believed he was covered, and now, in the middle of our grief, we are left without the support we thought would help us honor his final wishes.

We are humbly asking for help to cover his cremation costs. Any amount, even a few dollars, would make a meaningful difference.
