My name is Chrissi. The pictures you see and the reason for this GoFundMe is for my baby boy Trooper. He was a dog, but he was my baby. He was recently diagnosed with Transitional Cell Carcinoma, also known as TCC. It is a very aggressive form of cancer of the bladder. Since the end of June, Trooper was on 4 medications, supplements, and a specialized diet.
On Saturday night, Trooper went to go outside and before making it off the porch, his back legs gave out. He started dragging himself to me. I started crying my eyes out. My brother came and carried Troop to my bed where he lay till the next morning. I had a fresh bed mat down for him and a pillow to rest his head on right next to me. All night, I was taking a dropper and giving him water. He kept arching his neck and head all the way back, his front legs were stiffened, and I was having to massage his lil butt to make him go to the restroom.
I called CVRC, and because I didn't have a lot of money, they referred me to Emergency Veterinary Group due to them having more options. I spoke to the doctor prior to, so they were expecting us. We got there, and 2 members came out and carried Trooper in for me. They were phenomenal with Trooper and me. They took us to a very soothing room where it was peaceful, comforting, and the staff were more than understanding. It took all the money I had, but I didn't care. As long as he wasn't suffering. I'm so grateful for that.
I have taken all I had and have, and now the final act of cremation is here. He is located at McAllister-Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek, SC. I've been speaking with Gia if you'd like to call her. His cremation, urn, clay paw print, and pick-up fee from Mt. Pleasant to Goose Creek is included in the price. Any help would be appreciated. God Bless!
